Message from the Principal of Lorestan University High School on the Occasion of the New Academic Year/ Welcoming New Students

قَالَ رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ﴿۲۵﴾Said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with confidence] (25) وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ﴿۲۶﴾And ease for me my task (26) وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي ﴿۲۷﴾And untie the knot from my tongue (27) يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي ﴿۲۸﴾[So] they may understand my speech (28)

I congratulate the new academic year to esteemed colleagues, dear students, and their respected families. I hope that in the new academic year, with reliance and assistance from the Almighty God, we will take firm steps towards the higher degrees of science and knowledge and in this path, consider the words of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and make them a model in his meeting with students.

His recommendation to students and youth has been in three important principles.

Education, self-purification, and sports... I will be brief and at the end, I will reiterate the words of the Supreme Leader, which he stated in 2007 in the gathering of Islamic student associations for you dear ones.

"I say to the youth: Education, self-purification, sports. Study; that is, strengthen the power of reason, thought, brain, and science in you... Strengthen yourselves scientifically, advance yourselves... Alongside education, there should be self-purification. Your young hearts are luminous; the divine nature in you is alive and brilliant. Today, if you compel yourselves to good deeds, good character, good behavior, and get used to it, your human identity will be formed in this way and this achievement will remain with you until the end of your life. Especially in this age group of yours, which is a golden period; a golden period... Education, self-purification, and sports are the three main factors in the progress of youth."
