The student gathering, "Intimacy with the Holy Quran" and the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), was held at the Lorestan University Boys' High School with the presence of the President of Lorestan University and accompanying delegation.

With the presence of Dr. Ali Nazari, President of Lorestan University, Dr. Saeed Mohammadzadeh, Head of the Vice-Presidency for Support of Lorestan University, Hassan Salehirad, Director of Cultural and Social Support of Lorestan University, and a gathering of other university members, a spiritual student gathering of intimacy with the Holy Quran, recitation of verses from the divine word, and mourning for the days of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), was held with the participation of teachers and students of the Lorestan University Boys' High School in the prayer hall of this high school.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this spiritual, Quranic, and student gathering, attended by the principal of Lorestan University Boys' High School (Dr. Bahrami), teachers, and students of this high school, was held on Tuesday evening, April 11th, coinciding with the days of the holy month of Ramadan and the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS) in the prayer hall of Lorestan University Boys' High School.

In this gathering and Quranic assembly, reciters recited verses from the Holy Quran, and in another part of the program, the student choir performed anthems appropriate to the themes of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS) and International Quds Day.

The Maghrib and Isha prayers were also held with the participation of university members and students in the prayer hall of this high school. Furthermore, an iftar banquet program was held in this high school.

In another part of the program, Dr. Ali Nazari, President of Lorestan University, and Dr. Bahrami, Principal of Lorestan University Boys' High School, while offering condolences on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS) and commemorating the spiritual nights of Qadr, invited university members and students to participate and have maximum participation in the International Quds Day march, which is held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan throughout the country.

The eulogist of Ahl al-Bayt, Saeed Yaghmaei, performed eulogies in this program in accordance with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), and university members, teachers, and students present in the Quranic assembly engaged in chest-beating.

Gatherings and assemblies of intimacy with the Holy Quran are among the programs of the Vice-Presidency for Cultural and Social Affairs of Lorestan University, under the nationwide Quran and Itrat Festival of the country's universities.

This festival will be held from May 5th to 8th at Lorestan University.

Also, holding such gatherings of intimacy with the Holy Quran at the level of city mosques and student dormitories is among the programs of the scientific committee and university members of the grand commemoration congress of 6551 esteemed martyrs of Lorestan province, which the Vice-Presidency for Cultural and Social Affairs of Lorestan University has proposed and is implementing.
