President of Lorestan University: Quds Day is the Day of Humanity and a Cry Against the System of Domination

The President of Lorestan University stated at the student gathering of intimacy with the Holy Quran at the Lorestan University Boys' High School: "Quds Day is the day of humanity and a cry against the global system of domination and arrogance."

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, Dr. Ali Nazari, on Tuesday evening, April 11, at the student gathering of intimacy with the Holy Quran and the mourning of the days of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), which was held in the prayer hall of the Lorestan University Boys' High School, explained: "The Zionist regime is an usurping, oppressive, and child-killing regime, and supporting the oppressed people of Palestine is in line with acting upon the teachings of the Holy Quran in supporting the oppressed and fighting the oppressor."

Dr. Nazari invited academics, teachers, and students to attend and participate to the maximum extent possible in the Quds Day rallies.

He explained: "Students are divine trusts and the flowers of life."

The President of the Basij Organization of Professors of Lorestan Province stated: "Holding gatherings and circles of intimacy with the Holy Quran is among the valuable spiritual and educational programs."

Dr. Ali Nazari stated: "The participation of students in such spiritual programs should increase."

The President of Lorestan University stated: "The Holy Quran is a lesson in life and a clean city; if we want to have a completely clean society, the teachings of the Holy Quran must be institutionalized at all behavioral levels of society."

In another part of his speech, he offered condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS) and considered the spirituality prevailing on the nights of Qadr as a human-building educational spirituality.

Dr. Ali Nazari added: "The message of the nights of Qadr is that a person should know himself and know the value and dignity of his existence and be a helper to others, especially the oppressed."

It is worth mentioning that the circles of intimacy with the Holy Quran of Lorestan University are held regularly during the days of the holy month of Ramadan, under the auspices of the National Quran and Itrat Festival of the country's universities and the scientific and academic committee of the National Congress for the Commemoration of 6551 Martyrs of Lorestan Province.

This program is being held by the Vice-Chancellor for Cultural and Social Affairs of Lorestan University in the mosques of Khorramabad and the student dormitories of this university.
